PSM - I was trying to be goofy in the sense that there's nothing "regular" about the light Don so kindly sent me. You're right, mizer is what I have. I'll edit that in a bit to prevent further confusion.

How right you are, I think the HA version is just as good as the Ti! (Call me crazy!) :grin2:

Had to throw in the newest member of my growing McGizmo family, an XR27 with a PD body because this is a PD thread! Spent the evening polishing it up and boy are my fingers tired. Hope you enjoy.

I understand why Ti is desirable, but I am a complete sucker for HA-BK, and it doesn't get any more beautiful than Don's slate black shade.

Ok, it's not Wave_Particle-like yet, but I'll keep trying.

Roccomo,

Nice piston. I share the same affection for the clean look.

DiFlorentino - I'm having some serious awe and envy over that splash-ano blue PD...reminds me a lot of where these lights are made! :) My PD is a user, though...any idea how long that kind of ano would last in a "battle scarring" environment? Also, is it something that, when it got too bad, you could, y'know, just strip and redo [for a different pattern, of course]?

Yeah, that blue/silver swirl came out even better than I had hoped. And yes...it is still going to be buried with me. As far as the finish, I would call it as durable (or not durable) as any type II finish. Will it wear? Yep. Can you strip it and redo it? Yep.

:)

Now this may be the rarest of them all, I've never ever seen a picture of it before.
