Re: New dive light. TRITON "Intruso"

Sorry for the time it took to come back here. Here you are a pic you may find interesting. The one on the left has a 100 Watt , 10000 lm LED; the one in the middle is named TRITON Harpoon (XML), and the one on the right is the TRITON Intruso (XPG). By the way, Javier is with us now, and he will open a thread for the 10000 lm light.

Beautifull!

When and how can we get our hands on these new babies?

Do you need a Canadian distributer?

Re: Which is which?

It's the same lamp and I don't see any problem in that what I didn't understand and like is that they advertise the same burn time for the D1 and D2 with a difference of 30 lumens and the last one uses 2 batteries so like in all Chinese products the characteristics deceptive.

Seems to me this is more about marketing a commercial product than the sharing of ideas.

Re: Dive light. TRITON as SAYUSELLME ???

Triton Espeleobuceo (a well known cavediving group in Europe) asked me to make some special lights for them
That link is to a blog, as expected. Don't you have a website of your own? The only site I can find with your name is tritonequipment.net, but I rather doubt that's who you are - they are manufacturers of large-scale machinery for the oil industry. They don't make lights.

Anyway... how much are you asking your diving friends at Triton Espelebuceo to pay for the lights you "made" for them? Is it the US $135.99 at flashlightbox.com, which is about in line with the figure you hinted at in post #22? I see there is a measly $4 discount for 15pcs there, but the figure for 500pcs is not published. Or have you pointed them to the AU $54.83 deal obtainable from sayusellme?

Pass on my regards to ARC Mania, when you next see him. I'm sure you must know him - he used to sell lights here. Like you, he claimed to have made them himself. He doesn't come here any more.

I have bumped into DM51 before, but for shooting my mouth off topic and whatnot.

When he is doing real 'work' (as opposed to just keeping things civil and on-topic), this guy is razor's edge.

I really hope this in not another scam. For sure, I am happy that there are MODs who are on top of this sort of stuff.

Kudos to DM51 and the rest of you behind the scenes here.

Re: ██ Triton "Intruso" Dive light - NOT QUITE WHAT IT SEEMS... ██

Hell!!!

It's been a lot of time since the last time I came here. Well, all I can say is that all the Triton lights introduced here were designed entirely in Spain, mostly supervised by me. Tritonequipment was Iñigo, former engineer on Barbolight who wanted to do this and I helped.

SO THEY ARE WHAT IÑIGO (TRITONEQUIPMENT) SAID.

So, moderator, please, remove the "NOT QUITE WHAT IT SEEMS", because I can tell and proof that when first introduced on this forum they were absolutely original. No cheating intended at all, and as I explained there was no intention at all of hiding where the lighst were being assembled.

I need to clarify a couple of things, but it seems that someone didn't play fair. I will keep you informed, sure. Thanks for the information.

Javier

Triton is a well known cavediving group I belong too long time ago. When Iñigo wanted to release new lights he asked to use our name, and also our experience and advice. Some members of Triton helped with their experience. BTW, you can find my pic on the following link.

http://www.grupotriton.org/web/contenidos/Quienes_Somos/fichas_personales.html

I explained on other post that the lights were made in China. That is the reason one of them was named Longwang. So please, do not misunderstand, as I have been more than clear on this. Not just on this forum, but on spanish forums.

Iñigo stopped his labour here, and told me to follow. Sincerely, I have been away for a while, but had no idea at all about what happened till I came here today. Quite sad.
