Hello,

I started a new project and made a few custom 18650 Surefire P60 compatible bodies with real carbon fiber and hard anodized black or natural 6065-T6 aluminium. Standard 2 cells body is compatible with 2xCR123 or 1x 18650, short single cell body is compatible with both 1x16340 and 1x 18350. (O-rings included). They will work with SF 6P/G2/C2... heads and tailcaps threads, compatibility with lanyard ring is also retained. They turned out as I always wanted but they are very time consuming to make and hand assembling as everything needs a really precise fit so I guess this will be the only run.

Here a couple of pics:

WOW nice...coming from you Davide I expect nothing but the best work.

Please clarify will there be any visible gap between the carbon fiber and the alu tube?

I will definitely want a Natural (HAIII) 18350 tube :D

Pay now, or when ready for delivery?

EDIT - Is there any possibility of a C-tail/E-head tube? I've been looking for one of these (ideally in 18650) for a long time....

Thank you! The gap is the same as original 6P/C2 Surefire bodies, this is used to add lanyard rings and being sure it is compatible with most C series tailcaps even aftermarket ones.

I am asking payment at the moment of the order to be sure I know exactly how many as they are expensive and not so easy to assemble. It will be also easier to manage orders based on paypal payment date priority and will be able to ship paid order as soon as ready.

About a C-series tailcap E-series head option, should not be a big problem as external body diameter is the same and I should have some samples around to work with. As said I'd like to make only one run so if I can accept orders also for C tail E head I'll let you know tomorrow and if possible I'll update this thread and gather both version orders here.

Thanks again

EDIT I'd like to add some more pics for you pleasure:

Thanks for the heads up Silgt. I can see that his work is very nice.
If the e head/c tailcap is a go, I will take them.
Else I have 6 pieces of MD2 to last me a lifetime running 18650/Malkoff.
:)

Hey Davide,

I'd like to put down for:

1 e head c tail 1x18650 black
1 e head c tail 1x18350 black

Your skill speaks for itself but I'd like to point out the challenge in E head thread leaving very little material to work with. I'd like to see a solution where you don't need to use spacers to make the contact like the classic LEEF designs (or others for that matter).
