    What seems to be the problem? If it's not going to full brightness the cell is probably run down. Flickering or inconsistent output is usually a loose switch.

    I'm a big fan of the Fenix E series. Starting at reasonably high medium works most of the time and the optics work much better than reflectors for my needs :thumbsup:

    I took the reflector out of a AAA model and it seems to be the same size as a P60 Drop in. I tried twisting out the pill with a bobby pin but it's pretty tight. 2 CR123's are too long to fit in the AAA version with the stock pill. The body tube is also a fair amount wider than an 18650. Also...

    Nichia 219 in peak logan. Loved the emitter but hated the light so it's gone now :shrug: I'm hoping to figure out another light with the same emitter. A V series sunwayman would be awesome. I find I like XM-L the least because of the weird tint shifts in the beam. They work themselves out...

    Looking for a durable no-frills keychain light

    +1 for the E05. It's a durable, simple little light with about 2.5 hours of run time. The E11 would be another good option as it has a clicky switch and higher output if needed. I carry a E05 on my keys and an E15 in my work jacket. The E15 is a great light as well but takes CR123 batteries...

    Thanks for the review. I like the minimalist body, heavy matte ano, thick walls and TIR. I'm not a fan of the high drive currents and no tail stand.

    The E05 would probably be a better comparison. I have an E01 but the tint is terrible and the output is just too low for my EDC tasks.
