I am now hooked on foursevens

One of my favoritestest lights is my Quark Tactical 2xAA. Good output options, max is 280 lumens, super easy "tactical" interface. It's mostly been my hiking light. If it ever fails I won't hesitate to see what Prometheus has done with the brand.

Anyone EDC a Arc AAA Exclusivley?

Carried mine (Arc AAA-P) for years, . Once I lost it in a neighbor's gravel driveway. It probably got run over probably 40 times in the month it sat there before someone noticed it. It didn't look much worse for wear and it fired right up. Sadly a few years later I left it in an airline seat...

    Show your nightstand flashlight!

No picture, maybe I will add one. Two lights, One is an M2 with clicky tailcap and a 460lm drop-in. Bright enough to mess up night vision for all parties if I light it up inside the house. I almost never grab this light. If I do, very likely I am also reaching for the phone and/or...

    Sure a2 main beam CCT

Agree with vicv. I am not super discerning about color temp stuff but I never thought my A2 was particularly pure. And I've had a few lights to compare (Surefire P60/P90 lights, Foursevens lights etc.). But on the other hand I've had an original A2 (square body, green LED's) since they first...

    Good old classic Surefire A2

I found MA02's at Kiesub electronics but they ain't exactly giving them away (almost $30 with U.S. shipping) The only one I saw on EvilBay was $49.95. Maybe that's the person who got one for $16.50... FWIW I bought my four-flat HA III A2 in green when they were first out. I've used it ever...

    AAA light for pocket/keychain

IlluminaTi, Maratac, iTP, Olight i3 all look the same to me. They are also priced similarly. From that I would infer they're the same except for configuration -- construction material, coatings/anodizing, or output levels. This is just inference on my part so I'd appreciate it if someone in the...

    Newbie to the flashoholic scene

+1 on 4Sevens Quark lights. Stock it with lithium primaries. If the light is left untouched for a while with alkalines, bad things happen. Sent from my Kindle Fire using Tapatalk

    Need an EDC light.

Quark Tactical AA. I have a tactical X AA^2 that runs 280 lumens. Small reflector but if is easier to carry... not sure about rechargeables though. Another option, look for a deal on a Surefire incandescent and get a drop-in for it. 6P, M2, C2, Z2. Another CR123 solution, Olight M20X. 500...

    Who likes the new FourSevens?

I'm not a fanboy of Four Sevens or any other company. But I do like their lights. I have a ReVO SS, a Quark X Tactical AA^2 and just now picked up a Preon P0. (The jury is still out on the P0 but the ReVO and Quark are great.) As far as I'm concerned, 4Sevens/FOURSEVENS makes good products...

    Your Average Lumen Usage

I had to lie. Your lumen ranges do not follow typical usage categories. Mainly I use a "medium" light level, which for my EDC lights is low 20 lumens but any light level from 10 to 30 lumens would be fine. Before I got my ReVO I had an Arc AAA-P whose 10.5 lumens was just about ideal. That...

What was the last LED light you purchased and why?

I try not to buy lights I won't use. It doen't always work, but I try. :) I picked up a Quark X AA2 Tactical during 4Sevens' recent sale. That lets me travel with a decently powerful light and still leave the M2 for use at home. I have an A2 (green) in my emergency bag. But now I have a...

    Foursevens Preon P0

Re: Preon P0-SS ... a new 1x AAA light ©2012 by 4Sevens!!! I've gotten used to twisting my ReVO SS as needed, and this one is a bit simpler so IMHO it's no big deal for me. This is not a tactical light, but I understand why ppl would want to start out on high output. From reading the...

    Foursevens Preon P0

Re: New AAA keychain light -- Preon 0 Not a ReVO replacement, but still a nice light and very, very small. Sort of a mini ReVO with just low and medium, no high output. I just pre-ordered a Preon P0. I don't know that it will knock my ReVO SS off the keychain but I'm sure I can put it to...

    Foursevens Preon P0

Re: New AAA keychain light -- Preon 0 Preon 0: 55.8mm long 12.7mm wide 13g DQG II: 56.6mm long 12.6mm wide 12g (spec says 57.5mm long) Practically a tie. You'd have to tighten down the heads and line them up to tell that the Preon 0 is a mite shorter. Using 4Sevens' specs, the Preon 0...
