    Peak Performance Incan Lights?

Magcharger does take a really long time to charge and that's the only thing I really dislike about it. But I mainly just use it to check out the building I live in at night, and if it's on the charger, I'll just grab my 9N or C3 or something instead. I prefer to have a good club in my hands...

    Peak Performance Incan Lights?

3D Mags suck. All the incan Mags suck. they need to be modded with halogen lamps.

    Peak Performance Incan Lights?

Only thing I would change about the Magcharger is that the power cord wasn't so skinny so that it could charge faster. They could have improved that over time, but they didn't.

    Protected 16340s for M6 MB20

I would prefer a 2x26650 as well. It's not like the M6 is a small light to begin with anyways.

    Peak Performance Incan Lights?

Well.. you know, whatever the status quo is.. or was back then... I don't normally abide by that. I remember those days too, always coming out of a security patrol of a building and putting it right back on the battery charger. So nowadays if I expect to use a Magcharger for over a half hour...

    Peak Performance Incan Lights?

But you can toss another battery in the Mag too... see my point? There's another option I use. A Surefire 9N with a custom 18650 battery holder. You can use the stock lamp just fine. Carry some spare 18650's with you and you're good to go for a long time.

    Peak Performance Incan Lights?

Monocrom, I never said the Magcharger had a great runtime, but you realize the M4 with an MN60 also only has a 1 hour runtime, right? These are incan lights, they don't run for 250 hours on one set of batteries, they require a recharge, a replacement recharged stick, or new primary batteries...

    Peak Performance Incan Lights?

Magcharger. That Streamlight XL20X thing or whatever, I used that for security work a lot. Surefire M6 with MN21, but the runtime sucks. I'm still a fan of the stock Surefire M4 with an MN60 as a practical high lumen option and no battery carrier to deal with. SO... I guess aside from a...

    【News】Cyansky Infrared Flashlight is coming! palm-sized, 850nm 5000mW IR LED, 21700,Type-C charge

To be honest, the idea of IR LED's is cool, but I prefer incans with an IR filter for this purpose. You can still pick up the light signature of an IR LED with dark adjusted eyes pretty easily. Not so with an incan with an IR filter.

    Protected 16340s for M6 MB20

Yea, I hate how so many cells are made out of spec these days just to squeeze a few more amp hours in. Well that's not cool if it doesn't work in your light.

I've always thought of Nightcore as pretty much junk. Have they improved lately?

If I had one I could measure it for you, but I don't, sorry.

    Protected 16340s for M6 MB20

I do like the 3 battery configuration. 12 volt bulbs are a bit more efficient as well.

    Protected 16340s for M6 MB20

Yea, I have three "Ultrafire" 17670's in my M6 battery carrier to run the MN60, but those batteries are old as crap and not made anymore. I think I should be able to replace them with 16650's eventually.
