That sucks to hear. I just got the T20CS and its a really nice light. Fits in my front accessory pocket on my 511 jeans perfectly. My only complaint so far is that the lowest level is to bright.
I returned my Nitecore MH25 because it wouldn't take a charge.
If all else fails I'll have to...
Let me nip it in the butt right away. I have replaced the batteries with new ones from a couple different manufacturers.
I have a Olight M30 Triton that is extremely dim. On low it basically just glows the LED's. On high its has less output then a maglite.
I'd rather not throw the light...
The NH25 is going back to going gear. The charging port must be broke because it won't charge at all. The red LED doesn't light up when the light is plugged in and even when I click the light on to start charging there is no indicator.
NEXT!
Well I ended up going with a Nitecore MH25, Jetbeam BC25, XTAR WPII, and EagleTac 18650 3400mAh.
Love the rechargable feature the Nitecore has, the Jetbeam was more of a Black Friday impulse buy.
I looked up virtuovice's videos and I like the XT11's beam profile better then the T20CS.
Wonder if Klarus changed the tactical ring from plastic to metal on the newer production runs.
Yep. I saw Selfbuilts review of the TR31C and that's how it got on my list.
I also ran across a post about a Malkoff MD2. That body can take cr123 and 18650's.
I've seen quite a few threads on Malkoffs, don't know if thats a good thing or bad. Starting to look into that one now.
I'm going...
As the title says, I'm trying to decided between these lights.
I don't know if i'm dealing with inflated or underrated numbers or missing out on a light that would fit my needs better.
Importance is as follows:
Reliability/durability
output
battery life
UI
design/accessories
Surefire P2X...
Any input on durability, customer service and general impressions of these lights would be helpful.
Here are my general notes on each light i've been looking at. I want to run 18650's with CR123's as spares for power outage. I want a thrower with good spill, do not want a tight beamed...
