You could program the Dr Jones (H17f) driver to come pretty close to what you want. It can somewhat easily be programmed to come on "high" and double tap to a "low". Or "high" then "low" as the next level. If the mechtorch comes withe default driver settings then you'd have to remove a couple...
Great light, the "limited" edition Ti verison is my favorite EDC. I just wish Jetbeam would stop loctiting the heads on the more recent ones.
It makes it hard to add a glowring inside the bezel. Also the weird teeth on the pocket clip aren't necessary but are easy enough to grind off.
Re: ARC 6 inbound-please share your thoughts
Great light, been my edc for the past year+ despite temptations from others. I love the UI, and the quick access to 3 different programmed settings. I wouldn't mind a little more throw but other than that its gonna be my main light for awhile to come.
Great light, highly recommended; versatile and customizable. Unique "virtual" setting is pretty useful. Piston drive is very intuitive and almost idiot proof.
My current edc for the past year and the foreseeable future.

rayovac 123's or what ever 123's I have.
Change 'em about once a month.
Mods: grip ring and GITD "o" ring, lanyard.
hope to do trit on the piston...
I like 'em a lot and have 'em on all my lights where its also an aftermarket option. Don't know how well they work on people but they work really well for itchy insect bites.
Its still worth obtaining I think, although I doubt he'll be able to get an N62LA even from SF. The 12ZM can still use the the M4 LA's I believe (forgot their #s) Size 15 would know for sure. So its still a viable light even w/out the N62.
Also make sure that its only the LA that went "black"...
Thanks for the pics especially the side by side w/the L2. Given the right pants and proper shuffling of other pocket stuff, I think it (UA2) will be more or less pocketable??.....The UB2 on the other hand probably needs a mans purse (murse) to go w/it.
New L1:
a lot more of a thrower than flood.
Very nice clean and even artifact free central hot spot.
the beam is almost entirely central hot spot or appears so because the center is so much brighter than the spill.
the spill thats there has some rings but nothing dramatic and disappear at...
Just picked up one of the new Cree ones today. I like it a lot. Its got a very nice clean beam w/even central spot. The spill on high has a couple of subtle rings but nothing disturbing since the central spot is so pure, even and brighter you don't really notice the spill except for what...
Got 'em both on two A2's and just a grip ring on E2D body w/aleph head. They work great. The grip rings on my A2's are a little slimmer than his normal ones but still work fine and makes 'em more pocketable for me.
Great review, thanks Don.........looks intriguing but even more interesting (to me at least) and not meaning to get too off-topic, is that S27Cx2 of yours........
