Got mine today, not that I needed a new light but hey when you get a 60% off hook up you order right. I really like the light and plan to use if for night coyote hunting. The regs here say the light has to be 6v or less, doesn't mention how bright 6V has to be.
That said already having a G2X...
I was going to suggest a Fenix E01 as a back y since they are stupid simple. Plus take an extra and leave it with the guide or give it to him duringthe trip and say thanks for keeping us safe or showing us that cool thing. This is what I try to do.
These guys typically live on tips and like...
Does anyone have any pictures of mounting it on a weapon like an AR yet? Or can one of you owners meause te diamater of the main body to figure out what larue or ARMS mount it would fit into?
Access to a machine shop and an idea leads to only to things.
1- horribly bloody mess
2 - great artistic ideas like this.
Thank goodnes PK is the second one. It would be tough to design surefires if his nickname was "stumpy"
THis is a perfectly timed thread.
I had 9 Surefires at my peak but due to needing money to fund the honey moon I dumped all of my P60 hosts and am just left with my E-series.
I used to carry a E1L as my EDC but when the E1B came out it became my EDC. I had a e2D but replaced it with an L4.

I know you will not be buying a new light but maybe a new pelican case like to 1110, to carry your spare batteries so they don't get wet. Good $12 investment

JEMelby,
What a way to make an entrance!
First off, welcome to CPF! Now stop reading, go buy a bunch of lights and then comeback, we’ll wait…… Done? Good you got that out of the way:thumbsup:
Now my free opinions on a few of your points.
I don’t think .mil is underrepresented here, I...
Be careful about using a strobe function if you plan to use the light on the water. 60-70 flashes a minute is considered a SOS signal. And I am not sure what waters you will be using the canoe on but if they are navigable waters you need to make sure you are using the cottect navigation lights...
Thanks Viper,
There is nothing practical about wanting this. I just figured I wanted small, nitcore(love the name) and strobe since I don't have one. And since it pay day I need one like I said:naughty:
I of course need a new flashlight and want to get a Nitecore(I like the sizes and name) but would like to get one with a strobe since non of my current lights have a strobe.
I would perfer single cell and don't mind what cell it is. I know the infinity has strobe but do any of the others?
