You are absolutely right, thank you. My CREE rep said it wasn't a CREE part, but he's probably used to looking at the XP-G1. Definitely an XP-G-2.- Bajades

Are you sure? It sure looks different than any of the photos I have found for the 3535. It does not have the same markings nor does it have the gold background with the cutouts as shown below. [/URL][/IMG]- Bajades

Can you identify this LED
This LED is being run at approximately 5 watts in its installation. It does not appear to be either CREE or Osram. Can anybody tell me what it is? The base measures 3.42 x 3.42 mm. Ultrafire 18650 3000mA exploded
A friend of mine had a single battery 18650 protected cell flashlight running a single P7 LED (Aurora AK-P7) explode/catch fire while in his flashlight holster.
