    You can use George's Hall switch (http://www.taskled.com/hallsw.shtml and http://www.taskled.com/halltg.shtml) and a magnet. No holes to drill. I have both Piezo and a hallswitch toggle but personally, I like the feel of a switch so I use waterproof switch and a boot.
