    HDS Systems EDC # 17

That clip is a "Munroe Dangler" suspension clip I purchased maybe 4 years ago from a knife maker by that same name. You can google "Munroe Dangler" or "Munroe Suspension Clip" for info on that exact one. There are other suspension clips available on ebay and even DIY instructions for...

This is is what I came up with for a rotary clip. I'm sure others have used suspension clips before but once I saw the constrictor knot posted yesterday it occurred to me also. In a front pocket or cargo pocket this places the light upright at the bottom of my pocket. Not a QuickDraw setup...

    HDS Systems EDC # 17

Just spent my first night with my 170N and have to admit I'm pretty disappointed with the beam quality. The uneven brightness from center to spill "rings" are noticeable and distracting in use and I would not have purchased this light had I known what the beam looked like. This is my 5th HDS...

Here's another comparison shot. LEFT: New 170N 219B from Illumination Supply MIDDLE: Old School HDS Legacy 170T Osram Golden Dragon Plus (I believe the emitter the reflector was originally designed for) RIGHT: Rotary 200 Bansuri *Modified with 219B and some height removed from the...

I don't have any white walls, only white washing machine. Those are the lights themselves reflecting in the semi glossy paint on the machine. Im guessing guys with white walls don't have wives obsessed with interior design, lol!

Guys, just to add to the reflector discussions... Brand new IS 170N Clicky on the Left Bansuri modded 200 Rotary with 219B Nichia on the Right The modded rotary is slightly brighter on all settings but most importantly the beam quality is much better.

    Upgrade Emitter in HDS...

Hello guys, Recently purchased a few High CRI lights and am very happy with the tints and quality of light. But my new lights don't have the awesome UI of my old faithful HDS 170T Legacy. I decided I want to upgrade the emitter in my HDS (currently osram golden dragon) light to something...

Is anyone interested in a Nichia 92 CRI 4500 K HDS light?

I would definitely buy one... in a clicky preferably... But would buy one no matter clicky or rotary!

What's So Good with HDS ?

What's great is only that they are extremely customizable, efficient in power consumption, and almost indestructable. Basicly they are the total package, lol!

HOW MANY HDS Do you Have??

I had 2 rotaries and one clicky 170t. I sold the rotaries and kept the clicky. I liked the beam, tint, and simple UI better. But I'm getting close to buying a high CRI clicky 120... ;-)

    HDS Deep Carry Clip?

Does anyone know where I can find a deep carry pocket clip for my legacy 170t? It has the screw holes on the side and yet I don't see any clips available that even use the holes, only the ones that fit under the tailcap.

Dare to compare? Ra Clicky vs. McGizmo Haiku

I prefer the ruggedness, programability, and price of the hds. It's funny to me how people go gaga over titanium lights. Titanium is a lousy heatsink and objectively inferior to aluminum for functionality. An aluminum HDS is tougher than it needs to be and the material also better at...

Am I expecting too much from a light?

Maybe op needs a twisty light instead of a clicky?

    HDS Systems EDC # 15

I have a question, and I'm not trying to be a smart ***... With the rotary 200 and clicky 200 costing the same, why would someone choose the clicky over the rotary? It seems like the rotary does everything the clicky does and more, unless I am missing something?
