    Update: While diving this past weekend I started having some issues with my light and hope someone could help me trouble shoot the issue. While diving this past weekend I noticed my flicker on/off several times and then dim from Hi to low setting. I thought maybe the battery wasn't fully charged...

The reason I felt like I wasted everyone's time was because the more I thought about it the DR MR11 head works really well for mods and the upgrade led I did based on everyone's suggestions...

    Thanks for the reply. I like the tight beam better than the wide beam for the diving I do so I don't see a need to carry a wide and narrow beam. Sorry about wasting the bandwidth.

    The more thought I putting into this I am thinking it would make more sense to just try to get more power from my driver I bought to converted my DR HID to diy LED light head. Or I could just leave well enough alone. Anybody need a Halcyon 18w light head?

    Tonight I took a few minutes to do some soldering (need some more pratice) and then crossed my fingers and flipped the switch on. Then there was light and lots of it. Well more than I began with. Thank you to all who helped.
