Decision about taking the clear wrap off a 30Q

I have a SF C2 bored for 18650 but my 30Q is just a little too tight. It gets a little stuck in there without enough free movement for reliable operation. Trying to use it with a Sportac triple. Could'a sworn I had a bored 6P to try, but can't find it. May have even sold it and don't remember...

BYD, threat to US automakers or the new VW BUG?

This is the response to praise for machines raising both standard of living and life expectancy for the entire world since the Industrial Revolution. Think deeply of the implications of those words. Human nature and free choice be damned. Debating the tech will get you nowhere.

    Earth Day 2024?

I'll either do nothing, or possibly run some extra incan lights in the house for a bit in protest. I'm not a fan of so-called "Earth Day". The message is always anti-human.

BYD, threat to US automakers or the new VW BUG?

That is not at all what a free market means. Read some Ludwig Von Mises or something for cryin' out loud. No one is doing anything in your face. Just people trying to live their lives without interference from those who falsely perceive themselves as victims, making vague threats about...

BYD, threat to US automakers or the new VW BUG?

But I do blame you... for your own words and actions. Not "big oil" or Toyota. I notice a certain lack of accountability and responsibility for some of what you say. I remember in a different thread where you basically confessed that you can't help yourself from responding. That's a conscious...

    Wurkkos TS21 modded with W2

Nice mod. I need to get back to doing this kind of stuff.

BYD, threat to US automakers or the new VW BUG?

I think it'd be great if a lot more members would sign up for CPFUnderground where these discussions are allowed to get a little heavier.

BYD, threat to US automakers or the new VW BUG?

Getting very sick and tired of how some EV proponents are constantly using the word "fear" to describe how others arrive at their thoughts. My position on government forcing EV's is based on logic, and understanding of individual rights. Not some vague, emotional propaganda word like "fear".

True cost to run EV like paying $17.33 per gallon if not for $22 billion in government subsidies.

That you equate ICE emissions with the force of government removing choices, telling us what we can't buy, and what people won't be allowed to make shows exactly where you must be fought, and why. It's your position that is dangerous and immoral. It is not your, or anyone else's right to save...

    RuPaul, flashaholic - who knew?

Can't be. RuPaul is into cars and freedom.

Arc flashlight is officially out of business...again

To this day, I'd still like a AAA head on one of those extremely rare, rifle cartridge shaped AA bodies made by the guy who basically spearheaded the creation of the RCR16340. A CPF member from way back. I think his real name was John.

It's a waste of time quibbling about the tech. The only pertinent issue is the present EV market is being forced at the point of a gun. It's completely immoral. If one wants to fight against it, it's only in the realm of rights and morality where success can be won.

While I don't enjoy driving behind diesel vehicles at times, and will pass them due to the fumes and smell, I give each and every one of them praise for raising my standard of living, and life expectancy. Some food for thought.

What did you use your flashlight for today?

I believe this is my first post in this thread in all these years... haha. Some unidentified foreign object wound up in the laundry and broke into a crapload of hard little pieces in the machine. Used a FourSevens Preon P0-SS with its Mule type, emitter-only beam. Worked very well, and of...

What is your overall experience with Nitecore products?

I've only had one Nitecore light, an old MT21A, and it's been great. It's lived a somewhat pampered life, but still works like brand new, and never had a problem. I run it on a pair of super old Eneloops which still handles the turbo mode. I really like the dual UI where you can scroll through...
