'04 Chevy Silverado fogs - replacement bulb recommendations?

I have an '04 Silverado. The best high/low upgrade I found was a new wiring harness. The stock wiring harness skimps on the thickness of the wires. The voltage drop causes dimmer output. With the wiring harness upgrade, the bulbs (stock or "upgraded") will get the proper voltage. This...

    Size15s and other SureFire gurus...

My lights "rotate" on usage, but the ones that get the most use are: NON-SF McGizmo Ti-PD (MIA at the moment, but good general purpose) Saruth M1T (stays by the wood burning stove) Cheapie China lights (ie. from DX or Kai) that float around w/ my workers Ti CR2 Ion XT (on wifes keychain) Milky...

    M3, M6, or?

My M4 has been bored for 2x 18650s. For extended runtime I use the 2x 18650s, but I prefer a the Leef 1x 18650 tube. The head has been modified w/ LEDs (6 SSC and one Lux), so it runs regulated w/ one or two cells. With the 1x 18650 tube I prefer a SW02 tailcap. With the stock length tube...

CLOSED. Barbolight T-15. Pics & CPF sale

I received my T-15s. The McGizmo titanium clips fit perfectly on them. Use a 2.5mm hex (allen) wrench to install them. Make sure to use the Barbolight screws and not the clip's screws. The Barbolight screws came loose during shipping, so make sure to put them away safely or screw them in...

    Glo-Toob Lithium Picture

Blue or green has to be the best if all put out the same lumens. Just think about it. When you're down 100ft, what color is everything? http://www.oceanexplorer.noaa.gov/explorations/04deepscope/background/deeplight/media/diagram3.html

Drilling 1" hole in 1/8" thick aluminum

FYI: Greenlee makes different models which are rated for up to 14-10 gauge mild steel or 12-10 gauge STAINLESS. I'm sure some models will have no trouble going through 1/8" (approx 11 gauge) aluminum.

Does a Dimmable LED FLood exist?

"CPF" ??? I believe Sasha fixed the "flicker" with the last round of server upgrades. Seriously... CFL is your one of your better options. If you insist on LED, check out the fixed lighting thread. http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?p=1796498

florescent lighting fixture as source for heatsink?

Old aluminum framed windows from a house remodel/demolition. Intercooler end caps from a turbo big rig/truck/car. (don't use a radiator, as it may contain some nasty stuff) Computer heatsinks. Or better yet... go buy exactly what you want from your local metal recycler.

    LED dive light

+1 more for Barbolight. I do not do tec/cave diving, but I love my recreational swim-throughs. The Barbolight U-15 is my primary light for day and night diving. Javier/Barbarin/Barbolight has an upgraded version (coming soon?) w/ even brighter/newer generation of LEDs. So... ACMarina, are you...

    Hands Free dive Light?

Here's a front view of the OMS using the goodman style strap, while attached to my BCD's right shoulder strap. It's out of the way and in a convenient location at the same time. If you look closely at the pic, you can see the backside of a pin-mount-mini-retractor just above the letter "t" on my...

    Hands Free dive Light?

2x CR123a primaries is standard. I assume 2x 3.0v Li-ion rechargables would work, but I don't know about 2x 3.7v. I have a good size stash of Surefire CR123a batteries, so primary batteries work fine for me. A 17670 might fit in there (I don't have any). An 18650 was too large of a diameter.
