Thanks. I’m going to break open one of them and throw it on the charger then try it on my zebra light. Excellent CRI and I like working at night with the high beam on.
yes, that’s me on the solar forum. Great site.
What would I use to charge unprotected cells? Anything special?
And any specific brands of flashlight would be appreciated. Do some have protection (for charging and using) built into the flashlight?
I think the corrosion was mostly due to letting them set wet for too long. They needed a...
Some dummy (me) left two newish Ryobi 18 volt battery packs out in the weather. I convinced myself there had only been a heavy dew but in reality they got rained on. Found them a week later. Circuits seem fried but he unprotected 18650s are holding voltage. Neither will charge in the Ryobi...
Good morning,
I recently got an 18650 zebra light. I like the high cri and weight.

Maybe they have fixed it.
Thanks. I’ll have a look.
Does anyone know whether zebralight has fixed the parasitic draw issue? My older model requires removal of battery between uses.
Good idea. I’d forgotten about them. My old red zebra is still awesome.
Sorry to be a noob. What are my x choices. I’ll see if I can hunt up the site and find out.
Good afternoon,
I’m looking for a single 18650 based “right angle” light for use around the cabin. I’ve got a variety of flashlights but nothing that is easy just to clip on the shirt or put in a headband. I don’t know what we call those 90 degree lights here.
Floody for this application...
