    Hams, battery thought on VX-7R

    My experience with several battery cases for other radios, Eneloops and 14500s were just a liiiittle bit too long to fit, I could stuff them in but the case would bow outward. Trying with regular alkalines seemed to fit okay.

    Good deal, and Vortex's warranty is lifetime, and transferrable. No receipt necessary. Even if you leave it on the roof of your truck and it falls off and breaks, they'll fix you up.

    The reply a few posts up looked at completed auctions. Based on that, somewhere in the range of $200-250 would be what I'd consider reasonable. It will be used and loved, not stowed away for eternity or hawked on eBay, I can promise you that.
