I think it may be easy enough, though not convenient, you rig some type of stand for the light.. It definitely is a head scratcher why they didn't just leave the light flush under the quick release. They could have easily pulled a maratac deal and made a ring thing for a lanyard.- bullfrog

Just unscrew the end cap - its flat. How often do you need to tailstand? There is a little hole, but it's not like the entire batter is expose or will fall out...- bullfrog

Surefire LX2 still relevant?
Interesting - I can't say I've ever run those, but my give it a shot. Been using AW lifep04 pretty much since 2009 - I like the stability. Busted mine out tonight and I forgot how underrated the 15 lumen low is - it has got to be closer to 30 or 40. And the throw...- bullfrog

Surefire LX2 still relevant?
Bumping this one up... My LX2 had been sitting in my flashlight box for a while now... Kind of thinking of selling mine off since my E1L and G2X usually get most use of my Surefires. Would you still buy one new today if you had to replace yours? Any reason NOT to go with an EB2T with that...- bullfrog

What version/output/runtime Surefire E2L do I have?
This one seems pretty bright, but surefire always puts over achievers in... When did the 100 lumen version came out? Can't seem to find it on the web... The guy I bought from said this light is at least 4 or 5 years old if not more. What are the specs on the 100 lumen version? Just...- bullfrog
