I know I'm waking up an old thread, but these torches are still for sale an people could still be burned. I bought one from a seller on ebay earlier this year who is still selling them and I can confirm they are rubbish. Mine has a convex lens which gives a nice tight strong beam above water...- burna

Thanks for that. Seems like a nice tight beam. Is it really that blue, or is it just the picture? Do you think using the selector ring with thick gloves (3mm) would be a problem?- burna

Spearsniper, would you be able to post some beamshots? I have seen one that looks very similar and uses 2xCR123. Would I be able to replace the CR123's with 1x 18650 rechargeable? 250 lumen would be perfect for me for night diving, I don't like it to be too bright. I use a Fronta 3 watt (60...- burna
