What's the "popular" light on the market now?

It is easier to see what's popular because they have obviously proven themselves in the community. From there I filter my way down to a light that fits me best. Thank you for your input Heather. Thanks to everyone else! I already had my eye on the new SC600. Can't wait! Those Nitelites look...

What's the "popular" light on the market now?

Before I took a break, the new Surefure G2x's were pretty popular. Then the ZL SC600s. Any crowd favorites currently? Broad question; I know. Just like to know what people are digging at the moment so I know where to start. Been looking for a nice 18650 / 2 123 cell flashlight. Regards, C

My apologies, I thought Tac Lites only made one model. http://www.taclites.com/Products-and-Info.html Thanks for the help folks.

Are 18650s suppose to do this?

No. I'm using a clicky tailcap switch. It's a "Tac Lites" with an xml drop in. The magnet sounds like a great idea. Where can I get a thin piece?

Are 18650s suppose to do this?

Every time I take it out after use to charge, I see that the battery develops a dent that got deeper and deeper over time. I never drain my batteries. Here's a picture. Thanks! -Chris

    General Li-ion safety

Re: worried about 18650's Great info guys. So when you guys say not to "run it down" does that mean leave your light on until it dies, leaving your battery sitting on your shelf forever, or in your flashlight? Is it safe to leave it in a protected charger? Say I'm using one for a month or so...

A little slow at work today..

They happen to be giving out pumpkins for free nearby so we grabbed a few to play with! Not much business today so we had a lot of free time on our hands. TK70 for those that need to know! It is an excellent light and worth the investment if you're willing to recharge the batteries. I...

    TK70 recommended batteries

Hi everyone, Yes I am aware of a huge thread on the TK70 already. But I wanted to dedicate a thread on your opinions on which set of D batteries works best. Popped in some alkalines (exp 2017) and I immediately eexperienced the drop down. The brightness is equivalent to my tk35 as well. I don't...

    2010 E2DL Defender VS LX2

Hi, I recently saw the reviews on the LX2 and it had a few comparison pictures with the E2D LED. I went to my local knife shop today and tried both flashlights but I can't seem to be convinced on which would be a better buy. I am still confused as to why the LX2 is significantly more expensive...

Tenergy Propel CR123A Lithium Battery with PTC Protected

Hi, I have read reviews of other Tenergy cr123a batteries and it seems that they don't have PTC protection and they perform poorly. However, I ran into these Tenergy lithium cr123a batteries and they have PTC protection and the reviews praise it highly. I wanted a 2nd opinion from the pros...

Surefire E2D LED Defender VS Pelican 7060 LED

I'm digging that LX2! Your post helped a lot. Thanks. I like bezel tips! Thanks I just realized 1.5 hours probably isn't too practical for camping. So I probably won't be getting the 7060 anymore. Big time. I had a MagCharger as well and I've been in love with it. Thanks everyone for...

Surefire E2D LED Defender VS Pelican 7060 LED

Hey guys, Which light would you choose for yourself as an EDC light? I currently carry a messenger bag so size isn't an issue. I have read up on reviews on both but I can't seem to come to a conclusion. My uses for a flashlight like this would be for camping, hiking, or looking for things in...
