Looking for a light for a 60+ year old woman

Failing to realize that one day it will be them that is old. Age catches up to us all, if you're lucky enough to make it to old age. Myself, I work out almost every day. Eat right, drink a lot of water. I'm told that I don't look a day over 45. I wear sleeveless sport shirts all year long, even...

Looking for a light for a 60+ year old woman

Well. I'm a 60 year old male, and I edc an Acebeam E70 in my left front pocket daily. I recently gave a 53 year old female friend a Fenix PD36PE. I think the newer lights with the 21700 batteries with built-in charging ports are super handy and friendly to use.

    I found a Unicorn = Acebeam e70-al

Got my titanium version yesterday. Took quite a while for the battery to charge up. So I put in one of my Fenix 21700 batteries. Noticed it wasn't as bright as my Fenix PD36TAc. Compared the batteries and found the Fenix batteries are 3.6 volts and the Acebeam is 4.2. Will take it out tonight...

    I found a Unicorn = Acebeam e70-al

I have a titanium model out for delivery today. Yeah, costed $188 because of the titanium. Looking forward to trying it out. I'm new to the 21700 batteries. So far only have Fenix 5000 mah cells. Have two Acebeam cells coming with the light. Guess we'll just see, won't we.

    Why do you collect flashlights?

I never intended to collect them. But overtime, they keep getting better and better, stronger and stronger. And as such, new ones come in and old ones become collector items. Fairly rapidly at times. Bought a Fenix PD36 Tac a few weeks ago for the 3000 lumen turbo mode. In the package was a card...

What was the last LED light you purchased and why?

I've owned two of them in the past. A silver 1979 model from 1984 to 1988. And a silver 1981 model from 1991 to 2006. Currently own a silver 2006 Suzuki M109R (in the rest of the world it's M1800R) and a black 2008 Suzuki B-King.

What was the last LED light you purchased and why?

Talk about collecting dust. Bought a Fenix PD 36 TAC last week. In the package was a flyer for the Acebeam E70. So the light I bought with a 3000 lumen Turbo mode is being replaced tomorrow with a light that the review says hits 5300 lumen. In one week the Fenix is relegated to the dust bin. AH...

    Fenix PD36 TAC, ALB-10, ARB-L21-5000U First Impressions

I got my PD 36 TAC last Friday. Very impressed with it. For years I've been edcing a Four Sevens Quark Burst Mode QP2L-X with 780 max lumens. At the time I bought that, it was pretty much the max for a light small enough to pocket carry. This new one is BRIGHT. There were some reviews I read...

How old is you EDC flashlight?

I work in aircraft, and have always been able to find caps that fit over the bezel end of a light, to protect the lens from just that. Which is the reason I still edc a Four Sevens Quark Pro after 8 years, with not a single scratch on the lens. I put a small pin hole in the end for the purpose...

How old is you EDC flashlight?

My current edc is an old Four Sevens Quark Pro QP2L-X. Been so for 5 years +. Looking at my post history, bought it in July 2013. So eight years +. Yeah, starting to look a little rough around the edges. Just ordered a Fenix PD36 TAC yesterday. We'll see if it becomes the new EDC. Brighter than...

any changes? i want the smallest light with the biggest battery! i like to be shocked how a small lights contains the battery it does

Are you thinkin Tesla in your pocket? LOL! My edc light for probably six or seven years has been a Four Sevens Quark Pro QP2L-X. Uses two CR123 primary cells. Never give it a second thought in my left front pocket. Just ordered a Fenix PD36 TAC yesterday. Will be the first pocketable 21700...

Light Review: NITECORE TM03 (Tiny Monster)

I've had a TM03 for quite some time now, and am happy with it as a daily user. Also bought two spare batteries from the Nitecore Store. Using a Nitecore charger that can charge two cells at the same time. As it stands now, for me anyway, I've not ever ran a cell down to the point the light dims...
