    Diffuser for 4/7 Mini 123?

    Niagaratac, I've seen pictures of this thing mounted on a Quark mini 123: http://survival.com.ua/test/ad401/ad010.jpg Fenix AD401, it's intended for lights between 20-21.5mm, Qmini-123 is 20.32mm in diameter. Can be had for $5 or even less.

    With all due respect, I think you definitely were expecting way too much. The light is made out of aluminum, any light made out of that metal will scratch easy, just the nature of this particular metal. You could pay hundreds of dollars for a light and if it's made out of T6/aircraft aluminum...

    Agreed on not wanting to roll the dice. I ordered this mini AA as part of a two light kit for travel, not even sure why I went with HCRI for that particular purpose. I might just relegate the mini AA HCRI to a first aid kit and get cool or neutral whites for the AA powered travel kit.

    Ah, very interesting. So does that mean the current regulated HCRI Quarks, say Q123, would have this tint shift at low brightness modes?

    The Turbo X is my main outdoors/camping light and I run only 2xCR123A primaries in it. I have a cool-white version.

    Thanks for the responses guys, seems like it will be a non-issue, especially considering it will be a secondary light to the main Quark AA2. Now I just have to wait and see for myself once I get the mini AA in hand.
