Perhaps to a lot of people a AAA light is too big to carry around. Granted if they have a purse or a lot of other keychains it's hardly bigger than a lot of the crap some people carry. My LD01 is the perfect light for my keychain that consists of my car key, car remote and a thumb drive. My...
Well that explains your user name to me now.
I really haven't liked what Saab became this past decade, I'm still hoping they can recover more of their quirky past self.
In a sense I agree. Top Gear has been getting more moronic the past few seasons and less gear-heady. It was never trying to be serious but I feel like the focus is more on antics and less on cars now. I still enjoy it but I don't like it as much as I used to.
I do recall the first two seasons of Top Gear UK seeming better overall, but I have to admit I thought season 2 of TG:A was an improvement in many ways after it stopped trying to completely copy TGUK. They definitely need to improve on their presentation of the 'big star, small car' segment.
Kind of my suspicion. Up to an extent you can make a prediction (not 5-6 years) but with so many variables it's basically just a guess that ultimately states: "well, it should probably land on our heads in late 2011."
Re: Disappointed with the QC of ZebraLight SC50+
Agreed. Depending on how you plan to use the light, how you value 'perfection' and whether you woke up on the right side of the bed, this might or might not matter to you. Neither answer is wrong though. I personally wouldn't be happy with it...
It doesn't have to but it certainly doesn't hurt anything to have an aesthetically pleasing design. It certainly also will probably make the light an easier sell for part of the population, maybe even increasing its desirability over other comparable lights.
It's possible they set it on a course to have it land in the US back then... maybe. I don't know how well they can predict the exact path of a powerless orbiting satellite that many years in to the future.
The last thing we need is more orbiting debris. Deorbiting would still seem to be the best choice if we want to have any future to continue putting stuff up in orbit without it getting clobbered by spacejunk.
