Sold/Expired Armytek Pro Silver XHP50 V3 Cool white - 2300 floody lumens (LED)!!

Sending PM *Edit* I noticed that this is "cool white". I actually want a warm white, so I'll pass on this one to someone else.

If there was a Zebralight H302 or H32 would you buy one?

Yes, I'd buy an H302. If my H502 was Li-Ion (14500) compatible there would be no need, though.

PT EOS Seoul & Reflector Mod Writeup

I updated the LED in the EOS Tactical that I have with a 5000k, High CRI Luxeon Rebel (from a 4600k, Neutral K2-TFFC.) It's absolutely brilliant and definitely the most satisfying EOS mod that I've tried, yet. The hotspot is rather tight, but the cut down McR-27 reflector gives a very...

PT EOS Seoul & Reflector Mod Writeup

I can verify some of the things that robo has written. i was very underwhelmed with the XML T5's brighness. I thought that it was just because of the grossly misfocused beam, with the EOS Tactical's stock optic, but that may not be the case at all. I got out the XML T5 neutral 20mm star, hooked...

PT EOS Seoul & Reflector Mod Writeup

I put an XML T5 neutral into the EOS Tactical, but it had some serious focusing issues with the stock optic, which can be overcome with some effort. I haven't messed around with XML again, yet, as I've been so pleased with the neutral K2-TFFC and modified McR27 reflector.

Any source for small order of Luxeon Rebel LXW8-PW50 R-BIN?

Thanks for your reply. Luxeon Star will not check the BINs of their cut-tape LEDS, or so was the reply worded that I received from an employee there. They of course will order any specific BIN if I order 1000. I'll have to keep looking and leave no stone unturned.

Any source for small order of Luxeon Rebel LXW8-PW50 R-BIN?

Luxeon Star has these, but they don't give out bin information. So you can end up with a VF of 3.5. I need to have VF of 3.1v or less. Is there a seller that has these that caters to small orders or does a person have to spend $1000s of dollars just to get one single LED of the correct BIN?

    New Icon Irix Headlamp

Re: New Icon Irix Headlamp - my mini 1 minute layman's version of review I recently received an Icon Irix II and so far it has been a very nice experience. As mentioned somewhere in this thread, I read the entire thread before buying one, the tint is just on the blue side of white. Not...

PT EOS Seoul & Reflector Mod Writeup

Another EOS mod, for an older 25-lumen EOS-Tactical. This one entails a cut down and ground to shape McR27 reflector and neutral K2-TFFC star. No chicken head movements to see things clearly with this bright, wide spill. At 1-meter/40" the hotspot measures 12" and the perfectly even luminosity...

Anyone upgraded the LEDs in the Sten Light Headlamp ???

Thanks for replying, jtice. I'm considering buying an old lux version StenLight so that I can upgrade it with the K2-TFFC emitters. I really would like it if the JSB/ McR-reflectors would become available once again, too. I may be able to modify the available McR reflectors though, to get a good...

Anyone upgraded the LEDs in the Sten Light Headlamp ???

I'd like to know if you have succeeded in this modification. Myself, I'd have gone with neutral K2-TFFC emitters (200-lumen @ 1.0 variation), as they're a direct replacement for the old Lux IIIs (same die height.)

    Spark SD52 Mini Review

Bolster, I have to say that this review of yours is very well done. Very unique and real-world perspective, not often encountered in other's writing. I really enjoyed it a lot! IMO, this belongs over with the other flashlight reviews. If it had runtimes added, it might qualify... yes?

Ultrafire UF-H3d lens. Where to buy a replacement??

I have one from H1 that might work. It has a few scratches, but no cracks. PM me your mailing address, if you would like me to send it to you.

New HL from Petzl: Pixa series

Perhaps I worded the above reply in a confusing way. What I should have written is that the Ultimates are giving 80-90% more luminous output, in the Pixa 1, than the Eneloops. If the 80-90% were actually 100%, then that would mean the light output/brightness from using Ultimates would be exactly...
