    Zebralight H600/H604/H600F MKIV headlamp

The H600c and H600d use the larger Cree XHP50.2 and thus have a 17º spot. The H600 and H600w use the smaller XHP35 and thus have a 12º spot.

    Zebralight H600/H604/H600F MKIV headlamp

As it happens my new Samsung INR18650-35E cells arrived today, so I can now give you my discharge graph for the maximum (1598 lumen nominal) level, with no cooling and at an ambient temperature of 19C: Again it is slightly underdamped, but nothing to complain about, and certainly no hunting.

    Zebralight H600/H604/H600F MKIV headlamp

Having just received my H600Fc mk IV and performed some measurements, I thought others might be interested to see how Zebralight appears to have tuned their firmware. At my ambient temperature of 17C (63F) I did not experience any PID throttling on the lowest PID level (the nominally 562 lumen...

    MG L-Mini II review

Typical flashlight efficiency? I don't know - I just picked out a couple of recent popular ~200 lumen flashlights that have been reviewed, and did the same computations that I showed above for the L-Mini II. For example, the 4sevens Quark AA2: http://www.light-reviews.com/4sevens_quarkaa_2/...

    MG L-Mini II review

Since nobody else seems to be responding... The cell used for the runtime graph shown at the start of this thread was rated at 2500 mAh, and I would estimate it to have an energy capacity of about 9.0 Wh. On high, the L-Mini II ran for 2 hours 17 minutes, or 2.283 hours. If we assume that the...

    New Key-Lux AA Coming Soon!!

Can anyone tell me how good the current regulation of the 350mA Key-Lux AA is? Assuming it is relatively flat, what is the input voltage at which it ceases to drive 350mA through the emitter? By the way, why don't most flashlight manufacturers quote figures like this complete with the usual...

    New Key-Lux AA Coming Soon!!

On the TNC web site I have seen mention of three colors that confuse me: silver, natural and clear. First, I thought aluminum looked silver anyway? Next, I thought that "natural" meant no color added - in which case, what does "clear" mean?? And my real question: if by some mischance I...

    New Key-Lux AA Coming Soon!!

I observe from reading this thread that some people would like the extra brightness of the 350mA version, and others would prefer the longer run time of the 200mA one. However, one of the big advantages of LEDs is that they can be run efficiently over a wide range of power levels. Is there any...
