2018 FENIX TK75 IS RELEASED! USB CHARGING AND 5100 LUMENS!!

Hi FenixStore. Could you ask the manufacturer: 1) The screw heads (hardware) that bolts the new switch into place ... are they stainless steel or another type of steel that can rust? I bought the TK35 when it first came out and when the black screws (torx?) on the tail end were exposed to water...

    Fenix HP30R

Hi Fenix 1. Basically I'm saying why did Fenix go for "neutral white" flood LEDs (even though the color tint is much more cool than neutral) and a cool white spot? Why not just keep the whole output of the headlamp neutral white? It's kind of silly. Having both flood and spot on at the same...

Thanks for confirming! Can you also relay to your manager that if Fenix were to Swap all the LEDs for the same good neutral white tint use efficient modern LEDs so the headlamp doesn't get hot include higher capacity 18650 batteries ore none at all (the charger case is excellent though)...

    Fenix HP30R

I spent more time with this headlamp on night shift and here are my final thoughts: The flood output is quite good on medium for close up tasks. The lamp is cool to the touch. The flood high output is good for walking at night with other barely adequate ambient light sources around and flood...

    Fenix HP30R

hi narmataru,Im not sure if your manager works for fenix or has special infomation but can you please ask if the actual headlamp part (not the battery pack) is dunkable ipx-8 waterproof? im wondering if fenix gave the overall ipx-6 rating because of the battery pack?

    Fenix HP30R

Well there aren't any reviews I've seen of this light yet so I thought I'd give my 2 cents. Mine arrived yesterday but I didn't get a chance to pick it up from my apartment's lobby till early this afternoon. I'm on night shift and have been using the Fenix HL55 which is a fantastic neutral...

    *NEW* Fenix TK35UE with MT-G2

I can't tell what the runtimes are. Can someone please translate for each brightness mode?

    Original TK-75 VS. New TK-75

It also gets very hot held by hand, that doesn't change. I also thought the XML2 was 20% more efficient. Underwater use isn't my only reason for having it. If I want to go fishing at night for a few hours and leave it on the turbo mode, even just a little cooler would be a plus.

    Original TK-75 VS. New TK-75

I agree that you won't notice a difference in output vs the XML version. However I find it surprising you could just run turbo for minutes on end like that. Last winter I had turbo running for maybe 20 minutes and had the head of the light upside down on tarp. Well the flashlight burned a hole...

Can someone with the XML2 version please verify my request above?

    **Pictures** Fenix TK35 V2 (XM-L U2) 860 lumen (incl. beamshots)

I'm a little surprised the XML2 version isn't more like 950 lumens. Is it neutral or cool white?

    Fenix LD01 XP-E R4 vs XP-G R4

Interesting. I want to get an updated LD01 as mine's quite old. The XPG2 would still be a better choice for an LED though, no? I wonder what the measured brightness is on M/L/H outputs with the XPE4

    Original TK-75 VS. New TK-75

I'd be surprised if the XML2 version runs at the exact same temp as the XML version. I have a hunch the XML2 TK75 will run a bit cooler to the touch. Not "cool" but "cooler". Like I said the XML TK75 is not practicle for running constantly on turbo because it gets VERY hot. If the MXL2 TK75 runs...

    Original TK-75 VS. New TK-75

your answer is hypothetical without actually testing what I'm asking. The head will get VERY hot on the old TK75, which is why I need someone with the new one to tell me if the head just vets a little hot or very warm on the newer XML2 TK75.
