    My Cool Fall SPY 007 & Tri-V

16340 3.6V rechargeable or SF123A primary in default calibration mode a primary battery will work fine. if the user configures the light to use the high power turbo mode (3300mA to emitter), you will need to be using hi current rechargeable batteries (can source 2A or more). cheers dave

Everybody have a great camping trip. FYI, the Eastern Tech Gathering is happening at my place on October 16th. If you have not been in the ETG Facebook Group and want to come please send me an email to [email protected] or join the Group. If I can stop by the camping trip I will.

with an XP-L-Hi at over 3 amps you can get in the ~1300 lm range and there are even more efficient emitters but they may or may not look as good. Quoting lumens is a slippery slope as there is no standard for this. The only thing I can tell you is the STFu will provide ~3300mA to the emitter.

    Droid 58 Repair?

Yes, you can do it yourself. Push a fine blunt needle into the little hole in the lock lever. What you are pushing on is a wrist watch strap pin (spring bar). Just make sure it does not take off on you. You can release one side and then the other. The size 011 o-rings are on Amazon. Cheers...

    Norland vs. Nail Polish

There is one option that is super easy for anybody. Put a thin layer of some clear silicone calk in the bottom of the slot. Slide in the trit. Tap it into position. If for any reason you want to take it out, just stick a needle under one end and pop it out. Clean out the slot and repeat...
