Looks like the gold lights have the majority, if not all the issues with the scratches.
I haven't really used this one since I received it. Selling it to purchase another light that suits me better.

I've had the opposite experience with Peak QTC lights. Almost like there's a break in period with the QTC foam. But for some reason, the V, I can get really low every single time. I mean so low, I have no use for it at all.

With a momentary switch, and a modified Moddoo clip, I will be carrying this light quite often. And I've gotta say, the ramping of this light is the smoothest I've used on any Peak light to date.
