    Thanks. Yeah, I'll use the 5A driver. I hooked the LED up to my bench power supply and ran it for 2h at 5A without any problems. I should have taken before and after pictures to see any degradation...

    you can create an analog signal with a rc lowpass filter from your pwm source and then use the adjustable version for potentiometer. The PWM should be 0-3.3V.
