    What bodies will fit/work on a surefire 618FA or similar forend?

    I don't know if mine is the newer or older style. It has a round bezel, so I would guess it is an older style. That said, I doubt SF would change the threads on the light, so a newer version should work just as well.

    My largest concern is the light being lost in shipping. I fully intend to repair the light myself, I'm just hoping I don't have to purchase a complete E2D head in order to get a lens.

    Does anyone know where I can get a replacement lens for my E2D? Surefire said it's not a user- serviceable part and won't send me one. They want me to send the entire light in to have it replaced. The light is my EDC and has too much sentimental value for me to do that. I'm still carrying it...
