When PT Apex meets Fenix...
I had an APEX and actually like it alot. The only downfall was the cheap plastic parts. It developed cracks all over the head unit and battery compartment. who knows Maybe there making them better these days. nice set up -

Ok thanks, the rubber boot is torn and the clicky switch is broken. I was just looking for the boot and switch not whole tail cap. I will get in touch with surefire then. thanks- dixemon

Ok this may be a stupid question but ill ask anyway. Will the standard clicky tailcap work with the rotary head and vice versa? I havent had both in my hand at one time. But I do remember my older clicky having a different thread pattern than my new rotary. Just didnt know if the newer versions... -

Ok Guys. You need to take those photos of the beam with a grain of salt. The photos look alot warmer than it really is in actual use. Ive probably owned over 200 lights in my life, And I find this to be one of the most usefull tints Ive ever seen. The color transition of the beam doesnt shift... -

Thank you Wattnot for you time and dedication to bringing us this benificial review. Don at illuminationgear informed me that they are working on a firmware fix for the xml modules. Apparently these modules were acting erratically in regards to the switching sequence for enabling strobe. So...- dixemon
