    My daughter just reminded me of another one. She was running around tonight with one of my old Krill lights. With fresh rechargeables, she can pitch it into some corner or bury it in the playroom for days and it's still running.

    I have a couple of older hardware store beater lights that my daughter tosses around and plays with. Inexpensive plastic buggers that take some tossing around, aren't particularly bright, and cheap.

    Orange Knives?

    I'd love one of the Busses. I've got two Game Wardens, but never managed to snag one of the orange beauts. I also like the looks of those Hinderers. Very nice. I've got one of the folders like on the bottom. Excellent little piece. What's the fixed model up on top, one of the Bark Rivers?

    Mag 2D mod

    This is the setup I use, with both high and low ROP bulbs, and I find I reach for this light for outside stuff more often than my M@g85. The small form factor and hot-off-the-charger use works great for me.

    6AA to 2D

    How hard would it be to get a 9AA version, use the outer two "levels", and shorten the center rod to accommodate the reduced length?

    Same here. I have one now, and could always use another to keep battery sets charged and in circulation. OTOH, how hard would it be to use 9AA, leave off one "level" and shorten the center rod for the shorter length?

    Which one is your most favorite flashlight in your hand?

    My go-to light for a while now, for 80+% of the general use around the house, yard, garage, and outdoors, has been my G2 with 3W drop-in module. The size, brightness, and runtime is a great combo, and hard to beat.

    Re: Gander G2 That's what I'd like to know. I don't see anything available at the website other than a few specific in-store specials and the recent newspaper ad. You'd think they'd have a more complete website like Cabela's or Bass Pro Shops... :shrug:
