HID street light ban by 2015?
I think that the 'locals' need to determine what is best for them. Bans are foolish. I do see LEDs moving into HID territory, but the LED lighting manufacturers better make sure that they done enough reliability and quality testing. I purchased several LED cobra type street light...- donutz28

Rechargeable 9V for Smoke Detector
I don't care to use alkalines in my smoke detectors. After you replaced a few leaky batteries, you'll want to use something better. I would never use rechargeables. They'll die too quickly and you might not get enough 'beeping' alert to know that they are dead. I've been using Ultralife...- donutz28

Amazing AA battery, the future ?
I'm glad to see at least one person not fooled by the 'marketing'. I'll stick with the Energizer lithium for those rarely used AA powered devices.- donutz28
