    How to price used flashlights?

eBay is a great reference, especially if you are selling it there rather than here. But remember that what the general public is willing to pay for a flashlight on eBay may be different than what an enthusiast will pay here. When using eBay, follow auctions instead of Buy It Now. Buy It Now...

Will I turn into a Maglite fan once again?

I've always been a Maglite fan, at least for the Minimag. As someone who has needed a small, pocketable EDC flashlight for work since the mid-70s, it was a godsend when it came out. While we laugh at its minuscule output and poor beam pattern today, compared to what was available at the time it...

    An RIP thread

I haven’t watched the Sound of Music since I was 16, going on 17!

Will I turn into a Maglite fan once again?

That review is from 2012 and was for a model that they don’t make anymore. The Pro + fixed most if not all of those issues.

    Phone Service Options

In the old days when we just had land lines I used to say “it’s unlisted.” That probably would work today, although younger cashiers might not know what I mean.

Looking for a compact UV flashlight for spotting scorpions (not hunting)

I know a guy who can get me some dead scorpions, and he makes it look like they were in an accident... [emoji6]

Will I turn into a Maglite fan once again?

Plus, you can hand it to anyone and you don’t have to explain how to turn it on.

    Nitecore MH20 disassembly

Hi Latu, flashlightguy 84 was last active on the forum on 4/8/18, these two posts were his only posts... Perhaps someone else out there can help you.

Anyone remember the PALight, and know where to get something like it?

I don’t remember all of the details, but the owner of PALight died several years ago (he lived in the UK if I remember correctly) and the company closed. I had two PALights, but both eventually stopped working, the last one about six months ago.

Dangers of holding a flashlight in your mouth.

I agree with desmobob. If you need hands free frequently enough to put tubing on your light so you can hold it in your mouth, a headlamp is your best solution.

Jetbeam RRT01 raptor (2020) ring power drain?

Yes, Richard, you’re correct about how to read the meter. I’m not familiar with battery drain calculations so I’m afraid I can’t help you there.

Jetbeam RRT01 raptor (2020) ring power drain?

Take a close look at the meter and the dial. The dial is not set to the 2 amp range, but to the 2 milliamp range (2 thousandths of an amp, or 0.002 amps). A measurement of 2 milliamps would appear on the meter as 2.000. But the meter is displaying 0.028, which is less than 2 milliamps. The...

    What flashlights have you lost?

Surefire Titan Plus. Only had it for a week. Put it on an S Biner so I could unclip it from my key ring. Apparently I unclipped it and set it down somewhere while on a trip to Pennsylvania. I really liked that light. Bummer!
