I'm looking for a new flashlight and I was thinking the Fenix P2D CE might be it. I remember reading somewhere that the head of the P2D CE might be compatible w/ the body of a L1T. I can't seem to remember where and the search function on CPF is on the fritz.
Can anyone tell me if this is...
I'd agree w/ the Infinity Ultra (or Ultra G) as a good all around personal light.
I have a Gerber Recon (almost the same but w/ a light filter w/ 4 colours) in bound. Slightly larger but I know that this would be very useful for those in the military (well atleast the red and the white...no...
I'm going on a little trip to Ft. Knox next month and I wanna bring my digital camera along (Pentax Optio S40). It uses 2AA or 1 CR-V3.
Normally I'd use NiMh but I won't have a chance to recharge them. I know CR-V3s are ALOT more expensive but this is gonna be a one-time deal. So...my...
Does anyone have any idea what kind of current the terralux ministar 2 is running? Or is it voltage/current regulated?
Never thought of doing this...It would be a lot cheaper than a BB module.
I have both the Infinity Ultra and the Inova X1 (with an X5 clone on the way). I liked the design of the X1 better...it seems more sleek but the beem (although bright) is utterly useless in normal situations.
I say go for the Infinity Ultra. Maybe my opinion'll change once I get my X5 clone.
I also remember seeing a the blade being refered to as some 420 variant. If they did switch steels...I wonder when they did and if there's a way to find out...my blade is stamped "Feb 04" so I guess mine is pretty recent.
I recently got a partially serrated Leek and I really like it...tried it out at the store and had to buy it right there and then.
Looking through the net, I'm a little confused on what type of steel is in this knife. Some sites say that it is a 420 blade and a 410 handle while others say that...
Einstein's theory of special relativity = time slows as object approaches speed of light...since the space shuttle is moving at an extremely fast rate around the earth...they would age at a slower rate. I think this is what jtice is talking about.
What kind of optics will fit in the anglehead...other than the small Fraen LP and the NX-05s...do the bigger Fraen optics available from ElektroLumens fit? Or the 30mm?
Thanks,
Daniel
