    SureFire M3, LF HO-M3, and AW17500 - won't light?

    I had exactly the same problem recently with my old M3 and an EO-M3. Just as mdocod described, the problem was that the outer spring on the bulb was too narrow for the 17500's to fit through, so they were pushing it up and breaking contact. Interestingly, my stock MN10 didn't have this problem...

    Yeah, that's inductor whine, and it is related to the PWM dimming. My EX10 does the same thing, with the frequency changing as you ramp up/down in brightness. I have also observer that it's silent on high, and that it varies based on battery type (and how low the battery is). Some inductors...
