    Thorfire TK4A Review (4xAA,XP-L,1100Lm)

Thorfire produces a good variety of flashlights from very small EDC lights to large thrower type lights. I have tested almost the full EDC line of their Li-Ion powered flashlights. This time they offered me their AA powered TK4A for test. A good chance for me to add a new non-Li-Ion flashlight...

    Wuben TP10 Tactical Penlight Review

Wuben is a relatively new flashlight manufacturer to me. I have looked at their website some time ago and there was not much to choose from. I spotted a nice 10180 mini flashlight, from the ones that became very popular lately. Currently Wuben is adding more flashlights to their product line and...

    Wuben T101 Review (XHP70,2x18650,3480Lm)+Outdoor beamshots

Hello This is my second review on a flashlight provided by Wubenlight for test and review. The current review is on the biggest flashlight in their product line, the T101. It is a 3480 lumens flashlight powered by two 18650 batteries. The powerful beam is entrusted to a large multi-die Cree...

I get only 10 lumens more with my IMRs. The output seems pretty well regulated, with no big deviations.

Fenix TK47 XHP35 Hi NW Thrower Review+Outdoor Beamshots(Warning lots of pictures)

Thanks for reading and for the comment ven! Nice to see a comment from you! I test Fenix lights rare, but from the models I have tested,my impression is that they care for the reflectors and what beam they produce.

Fenix TK47 XHP35 Hi NW Thrower Review+Outdoor Beamshots(Warning lots of pictures)

Thanks for the reply proceed5! Good to know Fenix engineers have done a good job with the reflector and the beam is good with the larger LED. I will test with some IMR to see if my batteries will push a little more form the TK47.

Fenix TK47 XHP35 Hi NW Thrower Review+Outdoor Beamshots(Warning lots of pictures)

Thanks for reading! Thanks for reading! The M3XSUT is good for objects at very long distance and if the tint is less important at the particular moment. In all other aspects Fenix TK47 has the better beam and the regulated output itself is a major advantage. Not everyone would like to deal with...

Fenix TK47 XHP35 Hi NW Thrower Review+Outdoor Beamshots(Warning lots of pictures)

Thanks for reading proceed5! So you have both? That's great! Is the beam of the UE version nice smooth without artifacts as the XHP35Hi version?

Fenix TK47 XHP35 Hi NW Thrower Review+Outdoor Beamshots(Warning lots of pictures)

Thanks for reading! It is usually not very comfortable to use the Low mode on a very tight focused beam, when trying to see something at very close distance. Some flashlights even don't have good low mode. The tail light in the TK47 is a great addition to a defined thrower.Great for walking or...

Fenix TK47 XHP35 Hi NW Thrower Review+Outdoor Beamshots(Warning lots of pictures)

Fenix has added a new dual 18650 battery powered flashlight to their TK line flashlights. The new model has the name TK47 and features some interesting ideas as well as implementing a new LED from Cree-the high intensity XHP35Hi. At first look the form factor is typical for a dual battery...

    Nitecore P30 Compact Thrower (XP-L Hi,18650) Review +Outdoor Beamshots

Thanks for the comment! You can look at the Olight M2X if you don't have it yet.If I need a better throw and still compact,I will most likely get the M2X. I am currently working on a new review with nice outdoor beamshots. There will be more comparison shots between the P30 and larger...
