So it does - it was so well-machined that I hadn't spotted the crack. However, it makes no sense to have to unscrew a half-dozen threads to remove the battery, after slipping it into the charger so easily - that would be poor design, and Guy doesn't do poor design.- FsTop

I also had a QTC keychain light recently, and did not care for it. It required quite a bit of pressure to twist it, even with a very fine thread, and it became erratic rather than a smooth increase in brightness, once small amounts of wear and/or grit got between the QTC material and the metal...- FsTop

I'd request that the low mode on a 3-mode be more like 2, instead of .5 lumens. .5 would be useless for reading a menu in a restaurant, for example, while 40 is much too bright, and draws attention.- FsTop
