    Why do some 18650 (same brand) work in a light and others don't?

    Just got 4 brand new Olight 3400mAh 18650s. Two of them work perfectly in a 4sevens Maelstrom, and two only cause the light to flash. The Maestrom has previously functioned without issue with AW 18650s. All 4 of the new Olight batteries work perfectly in a PD35. could it be these Olight...

    Unless you are riding really fast, a flood is better. Pick a fenix light that will run on an 18650 and mount it with a two fish lock block.

    Best: Malkoff Wildcat 2 with MD3 body; Worst: Leatherman 3aa light from costco--stainless body--very slick, poor battery life, not super bright. same size as a 6p/G2 family. it was only $29, but the thing never could hang with any good lights
