    Unfortunately, we have learned that standard E-Series threads do not work well for a regular 18650 body (without a tailcap). The wall thickness winds up being very thin in the threaded area.

    We have found SST-20 to have the tightest binning without having to search out individual tints. We currently use the 5700K for our cool white. It is ordered in the tightest commonly available group of 4 (tints). We could go with 6000K or higher to achieve a whiter output. However, then we...

    For the 2 x 21700 we are are actually looking to produce an extender to to make the existing 21700 body into 2 x 21700. Because of the length, producing a straight up 2 x 21700 would require a large equipment investment in tools.

    The black ring goes under the lens. The diffuser goes under the black ring with the textured side facing the optic. The purpose is to have a slight gap between the diffuser and lens. Thanks, Gene

    Wildcat 18650 4000K 90CRI. Remove the diffuser if you need the added throw. Also be sure to get the MD2 Body and switch and an 18650 battery and charger. Thanks, Gene
