    The TK45 beam reminds me of the L5, only way bigger and brighter. It will light up a lot of cubic ft, but I found myself preferring a flashlight with more throw.

    In answer to the original question, my most recent light is the new L2. It is almost perfect for most of my needs except for a low output light.

    Guys, Thanks for all the responses. The L1 is a fantastic light. It's only weakness might be that for 1" more in length, I can carry the LX2, which feels more comfortable in my large paw.

    Hi, Just bought a L1, from a guy and the anodization looks like the same color as the L2 - dark bronzish metallic. Maybe someone else has this too? Either that or I somehow got an L1 with a L2 tailcap. If anyone has this situation on a new out of the box L1, it would be great to hear about...

    Clicky question Hi, I would appreciate it if someone can tell me how the clicky works with the change in levels. Is the default low when you click on, then use the twisting action to switch levels? Or is there a way to have it on high or medium when you click it on? Thanks, Jeff
