    18650 Cell Phone Charger

That SP1 looks nice, but sure wish it charged via USB (charge the battery, to be specific). It would be great to have a charger this size like that, as I could just carry one USB cable, and a 2A capable power brick (iPad USB adapter is what I use). Currently I use a Waycharger from Journova...

    18650 Cell Phone Charger

Totally agree. Was about to pull the trigger on the v5 until I saw that it didn't support protected. Guess I'll wait for v6, lol.

Sold/Expired SOLD OUT: Flute Ti - Nichia 219 twisty AA with 3D trit and glow

I use a Pyropen. Works pretty well, but looking at that light, I agree with another poster that its going to be hard to just remove one.

    McLuxIII-PD Upgrade

I love it, and have been using it with an RCR123A with great results. I increased the high drive level to 1000mA, and like that level, for the amount of time I usually use it on high, which isn't very often. The Arc6 is a cool light too, I guess not quite as easy to mod though. As for the...

    McLuxIII-PD Upgrade

Lol, sorry about that, man! I am really enjoying the new LED. It's a lot warmer than than what was in there. I think you'd enjoy the upgrade, and if Sean offers to do it for you, I'd highly recommend it, he did an awesome job on mine. He even changed the trit out in the tube. I also think I...

    McLuxIII-PD Upgrade

Not titanium, unfortunately. I wasn't happy with the look of most Ti box chains, so decided to go with this sterling silver one from Jame's Avery. If you get one like this (its their largest box chain), have them put on their bigger lobster clasp, the one that comes with it is rather small...

    McLuxIII-PD Upgrade

Yes, I'm really impressed with the results. I hadn't been carrying this light for a while, so it was nice to breathe some new life into the classic design. Still hard to believe how nice that beam looks...

    McLuxIII-PD Upgrade

I received my PD back from Sean today! Had to wait on the trit that he was installing for me on the piston, so it took a while. I am extremely pleased with the mod. I can't believe the quality of light from the XP-G2 emitter. Even at 500ma, this thing puts the original LED to shame, but...

    Titanium Anodizing

Curious, I notice you do patterns. Can you do letters, like text, where the letter is non-anodized Ti, and the color is like the background? I have one of Steve's Ti pendants (the Holey Cross one) and have been thinking it might be cool to put the first initials of my kids on it somehow.

Based on some research, he is busy spending some time with his son before he (his son) is deployed to serve our country. There have been some posts a while back about him making more, so assume he intends to, when he has less pressing matters. Give your son our well wishes, Richard.

The name is the same, doesn't matter what version you have. And I don't know, my Lux V was actually quite warm in tint. Here is a picture of the P4 version. http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?353587-Surefire-U2-Ultra-Digital-Info-and-Mods&p=4124254&viewfull=1#post4124254 In...

A closer look at the Surefire U2 Ultra

Apparently, the Luxeon U2 is a boost driver, and the 2nd Gen version is a buck. 18650 works perfectly in the Luxeon version, I just tried it in mine before shipping off my U2 to have the XM-L EZW put in. If the 2nd Gen is a buck, then the 18650 probably wouldn't be a good fit, because Vbatt...
