    Portable speakers

    1000% yes! I have an older Flip (4 I think) and it's a great little speaker (for what it is). You can really get it to punch above its weight class by experimenting with placement. We have a built-in bookshelf where it sounds particularly fuller...still detailed and not boomy.

    The thought of going underground with a single light source gives me heebie jeebies. Two is one and one is none as they say. Obviously can't bring 2-3 of everything, but underground = 3 light sources for me.

    I'm just outside Springfield, MA. About 1/2 of western MA is without power. Some will get power back within the week, but others may need to wait longer. My family was able to stay warm at a friend's house. This is a tough one -- especially for the unprepared or under prepared. - Chris

    Re: Other hobbies besides collecting? Cycling is my primary focus -- road and MTB. Other hobbies include: lights, hiking, backpacking, photography, R/C, scanners, woodworking. Planning on some bikepacking this spring. Will also be adding parenting to the list any day now. :D - Chris

    I'm near Springfield, MA -- about 20min north of Hartford. Ready for the fun. Illumination and communications devices all charged and ready. 2wd and 4wd vehicles full of fuel. Enough batteries to last a month -- if not longer. About 2wks of water. Tons of food! - Chris

    007 Head disassembly question

    If it's like the Spy 005 you can remove the whole head. The trick is putting it back together. :) Dave has a YouTube video showing how to assemble the 005 -- which was extremely helpful! - Chris
