It is a modified sine wave form but worked fine for my needs. Just be aware of that. I’m sure a small pure sine wave probably is in the works. They have to leave something on the table for future sales.

Malkoff M361 is nice. Low, medium and high. 5700k or 4000k. 4000k is 95 CRI. Got one today in 4000k. Seems very nice. Of course you lose some output on the 4000k version.
Or, you can use an Olight 21700 Baton 3 protected battery which has the positive and negative on the same end with a spacer. I just tried it in my 8AX outside the battery tube using just the head. It works for that light at least. Cleaning up and found that old light. Had to see it shine again...

Thanks for the reply. I will probably just use the protected 3100-3400 NCR18650 cells. I really do not use the turbo function enough worry about the voltage sag. This way, I know the built in charger would effectively charge the 4 batteries.
