    Lucca, How does the manual focus sytem work? My VB-50 i could keep on turning the bezel in the same direction, which would make the beam tighter/wider.. I cant workout how its achieved while staying waterproof.. Cheers GD

    If you want a cheap power supply try using a pc PSU, I used a 580w PSU for the little housing in the pics above.. Just use the 12v rail on one of the molex connectors, yellow and black wires.. I now have a 15v 15 amp variable power supply that works fine..got it from a RC company for £40

    Where the ali wire is in contact with your part, these two contact points do not anodise.. that why its good pratice to jam the wire into a hole that wont be seen.. When the current stops flowing your part will not anodise any further... ie its finished :) All alloys have a limit in film...

    Fine for clear waters maybe, but if your blessed with merk like here in the UK..It's going to be useless. ledil quote ±9.5° on the datasheet, but on there list of optics they quote 19° I think your 10-12° is a bit ambitious..id would have said 20° but then i've not seen it under water :)

    Personally i dont think that the cute XML SS optic is suitable...great for a bike light look..but to much flood for a dive light. Why not just use a U2 bin and an aspheric and have just under 1000 lumens. Cree quote 975 @ 3amps for the U2 bin
