    Spark SD52 Mini Review

I've used a Spark ST6 in -20c, and a Zebralight in -25c. Both handled it perfecly well. I have had alkaline batteries fail me utterly around 0c before, and will never again use them in any flashlight. I can't comment on the SD6 specifically, but the batteries should be fine.

    Going old school

I've got a couple of old Stingers. One lives in a charger at work, the other at home. Both still get used from time to time!

    ZebraLight H600(w) XM-L 750 Lm

I've observed the same behaviour on the 740 lumen mode of my Spark SL6 flashlight. In that light, Trustfire 2400s simply haven't got the oomph to push so many lumens. Their protection circuits trip, and you have to loosen and retighten the tailcap. With Tenergy 2600s, the light behaves much...

Looking for a low profile headlamp for mechanical work.

Petzl makes them. Helmet clips, model number E04350. They're pretty inexpensive.

Help Restoring Lost Photos Here on Headlamps Subforum?

I'm sorry, I don't have any copies of the photos, but I'd be more than happy to host them for you if/when you track them down.

What do you think of your Spark flashlights?

I EDC an SL6-740NW, and I love it. With the XM-L, it puts out an absolute wall of light. I love the tint, and I find the levels quite nicely spaced. Great gift!

Need help choosing perfect flashlight, better than LedLenser P5R

Speaking as a former touring technician (video department), I'd recommend using two lights. A floody headlamp like a Zebralight, combined with a fixed-focus throwy handheld light. Flood-to-throw focusing lights are invariably a compromise. After I started carrying a headlamp, I quickly decided...

Does the Thrunite V3 XML out throw Olight SR51 ?

I can't speak for the V3, but comparing my SR51 with a friend's Cat V2, I can't tell any difference in throw with the naked eye. The beam is a bit nicer on the SR51, thanks to the OP reflector. The Cat is a touch ringy, and tends to have a donut hole unless you adjust the focus a bit. The...

When will we see a P60 style headlight?

I like it, Therrin. Good work!

My iTP A3 EOS is buzzing..

Welcome to CPF! What you're hearing is the driver circuit in the flashlight pulsing power to the LED approximately 2,000 times per second. This is called PWM, or pulse width modulation. It's neither a good thing or a bad thing; it just is what it is. If you swing the light around when it's on...

Looking for a bit of a beast

I absolutely love my SR51. It doesn't see a lot of use, but it's a great light for walking the dogs and investigating eye reflections in the woods. It's astonishingly small for the amount of throw and brightness. I also find the UI quite intuitive. If flood is more your thing, I'd heartily...

    p60 question please HELP!!!

I have a pretty bright MC-E dropin from DX that goes high-low-strobe. I was in a similar situation not too long ago, and found this one. I'll try to find the SKU and post it here. It's not the greates beam, being MC-E, but it's plenty bright for a P60.

    Olight sr50 - sr51

I have an SR51, and have yet to scratch it. I can't imagine that they would use a different lens between the two lights. That said, I haven't seen an SR50 in person.
