    Ha! I did the same thing with my pumpkin! It caused me to "rediscover" my ErgoMarine, and it looked great. Although I wish I knew why a couple days later it started not turning off and had hot batteries when I decided to take them out...

    Re: bike light I know there's a generic bike light holder which will hold a 2C mag, so it should hold this. It would work pretty well as a bike light - not in the same class as a 10w halogen, but MUCH better than the 4aa Cateye Halogen I was using before.

    Re: Streamlight Propolymer Lux - extremely impress Just got mine, w/clip from brightguy, and it's awesome! I'm going to compare it with my bike light next chance I get. Only change I'd make is putting the button on the neck instead of the tail (I think it's more comfy in a light this size).

    LED light use for bike light???

    I'm curious about the LED too. I haven't seen it, but Nitehawk also has a cheap 10w halogen system I have just ordered. Once I tried a 10w halogen, I didn't want to go back to dimmer lights.

    Well I hope so, because I just ordered the 2.5lb Nitehawk after all! Nashbar sold the last Cygolite minutes before I tried to add it to my cart. I would have gone for the NiMH version except the batteries were held in a neoprene bag. I wouldn't expect that to last more than a few months.

    I was looking at that NiteHawk too. It's an amazing deal - but I think at 2.5lbs it might be worth getting a NiMH system instead. I found this 15w Cygolite on sale for $70, and it's half the weight...

    Best mods for 2AA MiniMag and 2D Maglite?

    Is there any difference in focusing between these options on a AA maglite? The BB ones that are $50+ make me think focusing would be the only advantage a modded maglite would have over a comparably priced LED-original light (Streamlight Jr.?)
