Question how does the Malkoff Hound Dog V3 compare to Elzetta Charlie C133

Thank you Grizzman. I think I will get the Elzetta first. I think I will like it allot, but it won't satisfy my want for a decent thrower. So I will end up getting the Hound Dog as well.

Question how does the Malkoff Hound Dog V3 compare to Elzetta Charlie C133

Thank you. I completely missed that. This makes the choice much easier.

Question how does the Malkoff Hound Dog V3 compare to Elzetta Charlie C133

Thanks. I have read both of those reviews. I guess I am not skilled enough to compare beam-shots if they are not side by side. Am I right to conclude that the hound-dog has more throw? It is interesting that you say they are built equally strong, the Elzetta carries twice the price tag. Would...

Hi everyone, Comparing the Malkoff Hound Dog V3 vs. Elzetta Charlie C133: 1. Which is more durable? 2. Which has more throw? 3. Which has better regulation on CR123 primaries? Thanks.

    TK61, TK41, TK35(UE?), or Maelstrom MM-X with Burst Mode

I know: apples to oranges. There is no comparing the lights as they all fill a different purpose. I am just not sure what purpose I want to fill with my next light. Let me ask you: if you could only have one from that list, or the TK75, which would you pick? Nightflash, Thank you very much...

    TK61, TK41, TK35(UE?), or Maelstrom MM-X with Burst Mode

Hi everybody, I am looking to buy a new light but am not sure what I want. First off: I own a quark x123^2 tactical with a neutral emitter (love it) and I own the maelstrom MM-X (XM-L). I am considering the following lights and here is why: TK61 Pro: Furthest thrower of them all. Very high...

    4Sevens Maelstrom MM-X vs. X7

Thank You. I suppose I am inexperienced at interpreting beam shots, as that did look significant to me. Anyways I went ahead and got the X7. It seemed sturdier and I like the UI and form factor better. Plus a killer deal on old 4sevens logo lights.

    4Sevens Maelstrom MM-X vs. X7

    1. Thank you to clear that up. 2. I was not clear. I meant to compare the quark 123-2 XM-L, and the quark trubo 123-2 XM-L with the Maelstrom X7, also XM-L. It sounds like from your response that the Turbo X and the X7 are very closely matched. Yes? I looked those up already, but at first...

    4Sevens Maelstrom MM-X vs. X7

I had a couple of questions about the Maelstrom MM-X. 1. Are there difference between the Maelstrom X7 and the MM-X? or are they identical? 2. How does the throw of the MM-X/X7 compare to that of the quark 1232 and the quark turbo 1232? I imagine the throw will be better then the quark 1232 but...

ROP 3D Mod not at all what I expected.

well, I just checked the throw off it outside, it is pretty impressive. I just guess either the awws were overrated or the 4sevens has spoiled me, such a tiny package and yet such amounts of light.

ROP 3D Mod not at all what I expected.

thats what I thought. I have the 3854h installed. I guess it is back to a 1000 lumens just not being as impressive as I thought it would be.

    A camping plus light ...

I recently purchased a 4sevens quark, I do not think you will regret it. Although you mentioned otherwise, I would suggest the CR123, I find the form factor of the 123^2 nicer then that of the AA^2, plus better performance and less weight, and more reliable cold weather performance.

Know of any obscure 3X18650 lights?

Check out the M60R it gets rid of your exposed contact issue. 800 Lumens nice form factor. http://www.sunwayman.com/html/products/201008/36.html would be my choice for a big light.
