    That is correct, it should not have any noticable effect on the beam. Otherwise we would definately fix it for you. The emitters are installed by hand and is one of the trickiest parts of the assembly since we try to mimize any contact with the LED dome. peter

    From the sound of your description it is a 0402 bypass capacitor. 2.2uf if I recall. Yes, the light will still work without it. I added extra caps to reduce electrical noise. That particular cap is non-essential. Let us know if you want us to repair it for you. peter
