Quick review - Novatac EDC-120T (Now with Beam Shots!)

Re: Quick review - Novatac EDC-120T Thanks Jeff. Didn't know they also have the P series. I do like the option to go full 120, just in case :) Will use the light mostly for backpacking and photography where sometimes I only need the 0.3lux as default. I checked the information from...

Quick review - Novatac EDC-120T (Now with Beam Shots!)

Re: Quick review - Novatac EDC-120T Is there a way for the EDC-120T to default to the 0.3lux as the default ON setting instead of the MAX? Does it remember its previous ON setting? I would really like it if it can be configured to go from min-mid-max instead of max-mid-min, for my usage.

SureFire 123 or Tekcell Batteries in an Arc LSH?

Re: SureFire 123 or Tekcell Batteries in an Arc LS Bought 100 TekCells from CountyComm and so far used them with no problem in my Inova 24/7, Arc LSH-P, SF E2E, and SF G2. I only used 12 of 100 so far though. They are cheap enough to toy around with

    SureFire L4/KL4 Runtime

Is it a lot warmer/hotter than the SF E2E after 30 minutes?

    E2e MN03?

My E2E with the scalloped bezel also have that blackhole, when pointed less than 2feet against a wall. I noticed it just last week. So I am not sure if this is a recent degradation or not. Hmm, maybe I need to call Surefire too.

    SureFire L4 Brightness

So the L4 replaces the Arc LSH-P as your EDC? Right now, I whenever I go hiking or camping, I always carry by LSH-P and E2E. LSH-P for short distance, and E2E for the throw. It looks to me that the L4 sits between these two lights. The L4 is very tempting but I do not know if it replaces the...

Blaster III vs Arc LSH-P beamshot?

Will someone show me a beamshot of the Blaster III and LSH-P? Which light will provide more side spill? I read that the BLaster has a tight spot, smaller or same as the Arc? This Blaster III is tempting since it provides "24hr of near brightness" on one set of batteries. It looks likes this...

    Surefire L4 5W released!

Why feel sorry about getting the LSH-P? It is a lot smaller and lasts for 2 hours on one battery! From what I read, this L4 only lasts for 65 minutes on two batteries. It would have different if the L4 has a dim mode, which lasts for 4 hours, like the KL1. So, you'll want both

If you only had one light?

If I have to keep one light, I will keep my E2E-HA. I can always use it with the KL1/KL4/MN02 and have several filters available. I do like my Arc-LS very much, but the E2E can easily replace it.

    Arc-LS Knurling?

The knurling on my Arc LSH-P head seems too smooth for me. It is too smooth that I almost do not feel it at all. I would say this knurling doesn't do anything for me. The tail though is just perfect. The tail's knurling is a tiny bit wider apart and deeper than the head. Still a lot less...

    The LC100 rocks!

Well, my UK Light Cannon 100 arrived today, and the UK SL6. The LC100 is so bright and so white, with a tiny hint of blue. For me, the LC100 is actually easier to hold than the SL6. Hehe, the LC100 is actually not for me but my gift to my bro who will be graduating to be a beach lifeguard...

    Surefire E2E and Lanyards

They are nice clips. I ordered several ones last week. Still waiting for them though due to UPS screw-up. http://www.berkeleypoint.com/

    Surefire E2E and Lanyards

The tiny round ring that came with the Z50 lanyard, when clipped to the E2E doesn't lay flat. It is locked at a perpendicular position. It scratches the metal clip. So this ring gets in the way when holding the light. The hole in the E2E clip is a lot smaller than the hole on the E2O. From...
